A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in NSS up to 3.29. This affects an unknown code block of the component SessionTicket Extension. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session fixiation vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-384. Authenticating a user, or otherwise establishing a new user session, without invalidating any existing session identifier gives an attacker the opportunity to steal authenticated sessions. nss before version 3.30 is vulnerable to a remote denial of service during the session handshake when using SessionTicket extension and ECDHE-ECDSA.
