Details
A vulnerability was found in CloudForms up to 5.7.2.0 (Cloud Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the component Route Handler. The manipulation as part of a GET Request leads to a input validation vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-20. The product receives input or data, but it does
not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the
properties that are required to process the data safely and
correctly. Impacted is integrity. CVE summarizes:
A number of unused delete routes are present in CloudForms before 5.7.2.1 which can be accessed via GET requests instead of just POST requests. This could allow an attacker to bypass the protect_from_forgery XSRF protection causing the routes to be used. This attack would require additional cross-site scripting or similar attacks in order to execute.
