A vulnerability was found in subscription-manager up to 1.19.3. It has been declared as problematic. It was found that subscription-manager's DBus interface before 1.19.4 let unprivileged user access the com.redhat.RHSM1.Facts.GetFacts and com.redhat.RHSM1.Config.Set methods. An unprivileged local attacker could use these methods to gain access to private information, or launch a privilege escalation attack.
The bug was discovered 03/22/2017. The weakness was published 07/27/2018 by Cedric Buissart with Red Hat as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.redhat.com.
