A vulnerability was found in HPE Intelligent Management Center PLAT 7.3 E0506P09 (Log Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown part. A potential security vulnerability has been identified in HPE Intelligent Management Center Platform (IMC Plat) 7.3 E0506P09. The vulnerability could be remotely exploited to allow for remote directory traversal leading to arbitrary file deletion.
The bug was discovered 08/03/2018. The weakness was disclosed 08/02/2018 as HPESBHF03872 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). The advisory is available at support.hpe.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2018-7092. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
