A vulnerability was found in OpenEMR up to 5.0.1.3 (Business Process Management Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown functionality of the file interface/de_identification_forms/find_code_popup.php. The manipulation of the argument search_term as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in interface/de_identification_forms/find_code_popup.php in versions of OpenEMR before 5.0.1.4 allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the 'search_term' parameter.
The bug was discovered 08/07/2018. The weakness was shared 08/15/2018 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared for download at github.com.
