Pimcore before 5.3.0 allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks by leveraging validation of the X-pimcore-csrf-token anti-CSRF token only in the "Settings > Users / Roles" function.
The bug was discovered 06/11/2018. The weakness was disclosed 08/17/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-14057 since 07/14/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
