A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified Communication Software) (version now known). This issue affects some unknown processing of the component IP Manager Assistant. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in the IP Manager Assistant (IPMA) interface in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) 10.0(1) and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via a crafted URL, aka Bug ID CSCum05326.

The weakness was published 02/12/2014 with Cisco as CSCum05326 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at tools.cisco.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0726 since 01/02/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
