A vulnerability was found in Cisco Unified Computing System 2.3 (Virtualization Software). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function flist of the file copy. Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Central Software 1.1 and earlier allows local users to gain privileges via a CLI copy command in a local-mgmt context, aka Bug ID CSCul53128.
The weakness was published 02/18/2014 by Carl Livitt as CSCul53128 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-0730 since 01/02/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication.
