In Poppler 0.68.0, the Parser::getObj() function in Parser.cc may cause infinite recursion via a crafted file. A remote attacker can leverage this for a DoS attack.

The bug was discovered 09/06/2018. The weakness was shared 09/06/2018 as Bug 1622951 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared at bugzilla.redhat.com.
