A vulnerability was found in AttacheCase up to 2.8.4.0/3.3.0.0 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the component ATC File Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in ver.2.8.4.0 and earlier and ver.3.3.0.0 and earlier allows an attacker to create or overwrite existing files via specially crafted ATC file.
