The drag-and-drop implementation in Google Chrome before 33.0.1750.117 does not properly restrict the information in WebDropData data structures, which allows remote attackers to discover full pathnames via a crafted web site.
The weakness was shared 02/20/2014 by Antoine Delignat-Lavaud (Cloudfuzzer) with Google as Stable Channel Update as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-6660 since 11/05/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
