The Microsoft Windows Installer for Atlassian Fisheye and Crucible before version 4.6.1 allows local attackers to escalate privileges because of weak permissions on the installation directory.
The bug was discovered 10/05/2018. The weakness was released 10/16/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at jira.atlassian.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-13399 since 07/06/2018. The attack needs to be approached locally. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication.
