CrashHouseKeeping in Crash Reporting in Apple iOS before 7.1 and Apple TV before 6.1 allows local users to change arbitrary file permissions by leveraging a symlink.
The weakness was released 03/11/2014 as HT6162 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-1272 since 01/08/2014.
