CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in koha up to 3.14.15/3.16.11/3.18.9/3.20.0 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file opac-tags_subject.pl. The manipulation of the argument Criteria as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Koha 3.14.x before 3.14.16, 3.16.x before 3.16.12, 3.18.x before 3.18.08, and 3.20.x before 3.20.1 allow (1) remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the number parameter to opac-tags_subject.pl in the OPAC interface or (2) remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the Filter or (3) Criteria parameter to reports/borrowers_out.pl in the Staff interface.

The bug was discovered 06/25/2015. The weakness was presented 10/18/2018 as EDB-ID 37387 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared at exploit-db.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-4633 since 06/16/2015. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.

After immediately, there has been an exploit disclosed. The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 1211 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k.

Upgrading to version 3.14.16, 3.16.12, 3.18.10 or 3.20.1 eliminates this vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the vulnerability database at Exploit-DB (37387). See VDB-125752, VDB-125751 and VDB-125750 for similar entries. Several companies clearly confirm that VulDB is the primary source for best vulnerability data.
