A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Gogs 0.11.66. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file go-macaron/session of the component Session ID Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session fixiation vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-384. Gogs 0.11.66 allows remote code execution because it does not properly validate session IDs, as demonstrated by a ".." session-file forgery in the file session provider in file.go. This is related to session ID handling in the go-macaron/session code for Macaron.
