The bug was discovered 11/13/2018. The weakness was disclosed 11/13/2018 as confirmed security update guide (Website). The advisory is shared at portal.msrc.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with Microsoft. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-8607 since 03/14/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. Required for exploitation is a simple authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
