The bug was discovered 12/11/2018. The weakness was disclosed 11/14/2018 by Samuel Gross (xisigr) (Website). The advisory is shared for download at chromereleases.googleblog.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-17466 since 09/25/2018. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
