A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in CuppaCMS. This issue affects an unknown code of the file administrator/classes/ajax/functions.php. The manipulation of the argument reference_id as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. CuppaCMS before 2018-11-12 has SQL Injection in administrator/classes/ajax/functions.php via the reference_id parameter.
The bug was discovered 11/09/2018. The weakness was published 11/26/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-19559 since 11/26/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
