Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in TerraMaster TOS 3.1.03 (Network Attached Storage Software). Affected is an unknown code block of the component URL Handler. The manipulation of the argument path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
