Cross-site scripting in the /DroboAccess/enable_user endpoint in Drobo 5N2 NAS version 4.0.5-13.28.96115 allows attackers to execute JavaScript via the username URL parameter.
The bug was discovered 10/25/2018. The weakness was disclosed 12/03/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at blog.securityevaluators.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-14697 since 07/28/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
