The bug was discovered 04/17/2018. The weakness was released 12/04/2018 by Abdulrahman Alqabandi (lokihardt) with Tencent (Website). The advisory is available at chromereleases.googleblog.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-6099 since 01/23/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
