The GPCIDrv and GDrv low-level drivers in GIGABYTE APP Center v1.05.21 and earlier, AORUS GRAPHICS ENGINE before 1.57, XTREME GAMING ENGINE before 1.26, and OC GURU II v2.08 expose functionality to read and write arbitrary physical memory. This could be leveraged by a local attacker to elevate privileges.

The bug was discovered 12/18/2018. The weakness was released 12/21/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2018-19321 since 11/16/2018. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
