A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in phpMyAdmin 4.1.6 (Database Administration Software). Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file /xampp/guestbook-en.pl of the component XAMPP. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-352. The web application does not, or can not, sufficiently verify whether a well-formed, valid, consistent request was intentionally provided by the user who submitted the request. Impacted is integrity.
The weakness was released 04/05/2014 by Mayank Kapoor, Sujoy Chakravarti and Gurjant Singh Sadhra as File 126036 as not defined exploit (Packetstorm). The advisory is shared for download at packetstormsecurity.com. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
