A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in aria2 1.33.1. This issue affects an unknown function of the component aria2c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a log file vulnerability (Credentials). Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-532. aria2c in aria2 1.33.1, when --log is used, can store an HTTP Basic Authentication username and password in a file, which might allow local users to obtain sensitive information by reading this file.
