A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Plikli CMS 4.0.0 (Content Management System). This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file join_group.php. The manipulation of the argument id as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Plikli CMS 4.0.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) id parameter to join_group.php or (2) comment_id parameter to story.php.
The bug was discovered 06/28/2018. The weakness was published 01/03/2019 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-19415 since 11/21/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
