In Bootstrap before 3.4.0, XSS is possible in the tooltip data-viewport attribute.
The bug was discovered 12/13/2018. The weakness was disclosed 01/09/2019 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at blog.getbootstrap.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-20676 since 01/08/2019. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
