Details
A vulnerability was found in Oracle Java SE and Java SE Embedded 7u51/8 (Programming Language Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown function of the component Library Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity. The summary by CVE is:
Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 7u51 and 8, and Java SE Embedded 7u51, allows remote attackers to affect integrity via unknown vectors related to Libraries.
