The weakness was disclosed 04/08/2014 by Christian Holler (Cloudfuzzer) with Google as Stable Channel Update as confirmed release notes (Website). The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.dk. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-1729 since 01/29/2014. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
