A vulnerability in Brocade Network Advisor Versions before 14.3.1 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to log in to the JBoss Administration interface of an affected system using an undocumented user credentials and install additional JEE applications. A remote unauthenticated user who has access to Network Advisor client libraries and able to decrypt the Jboss credentials could gain access to the Jboss web console.

The bug was discovered 12/19/2018. The weakness was presented 01/22/2019 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at broadcom.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-6443 since 01/31/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1552 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
