A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Media File Manager Plugin 1.4.2 on WordPress (WordPress Plugin). This affects an unknown code of the file wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. The manipulation of the argument from/to with the input value ../ leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The Media File Manager plugin 1.4.2 for WordPress allows arbitrary file renaming (specifying a "from" and "to" filename) via a ../ directory traversal in the dir parameter of an mrelocator_rename action to the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php URI.
