The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-1299 since 01/08/2014. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. Multiple memory corruption issues existed in WebKit.
