A vulnerability was found in Tautulli 2.1.26. It has been declared as problematic. data/interfaces/default/history.html in Tautulli 2.1.26 has XSS via a crafted Plex username that is mishandled when constructing the History page.

The bug was discovered 02/19/2019. The weakness was presented 02/19/2019 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-8939 since 02/19/2019. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
