A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Tecrail Responsive FileManager 9.13.4. This issue affects the function media_preview of the component Media File Upload. tecrail Responsive FileManager 9.13.4 allows XSS via a media file upload with an XSS payload in the name, because of mishandling of the media_preview action.
The bug was discovered 12/12/2018. The weakness was disclosed 02/25/2019 as EDB-ID 45987 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared at exploit-db.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-20791 since 02/25/2019. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
