A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in eBrigade up to 4.5. Affected is an unknown functionality of the file showfile.php. The manipulation of the argument file with the input value ../ leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
