A vulnerability was found in Openwsman up to 2.6.9. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component openwsmand. Openwsman, versions up to and including 2.6.9, are vulnerable to arbitrary file disclosure because the working directory of openwsmand daemon was set to root directory. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to openwsman server.
The bug was discovered 03/20/2019. The weakness was shared 03/14/2019 as Bug 1122623 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.suse.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-3816 since 01/03/2019. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
