Details
A vulnerability was found in Raisecom ISCOM HT803G-U, ISCOM HT803G-W, ISCOM HT803G-1GE and ISCOM HT803G ISCOMHT803G-U_2.0.0_140521_R4.1.47.002. It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown code of the file /bin/WebMGR. The manipulation of the argument newpass/confpass as part of a Parameter leads to a command injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-77. The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
An authenticated shell command injection issue has been discovered in Raisecom ISCOM HT803G-U, HT803G-W, HT803G-1GE, and HT803G GPON products with the firmware version ISCOMHT803G-U_2.0.0_140521_R4.1.47.002 or below, The values of the newpass and confpass parameters in /bin/WebMGR are used in a system call in the firmware. Because there is no user input validation, this leads to authenticated code execution on the device.
