A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Moodle up to 3.1.15/3.4.6/3.5.3/3.6.1 (Learning Management Software). Affected is some unknown functionality of the file /userpix/. A flaw was found in moodle versions 3.6 to 3.6.1, 3.5 to 3.5.3, 3.4 to 3.4.6, 3.1 to 3.1.15 and earlier unsupported versions. The /userpix/ page did not escape users' full names, which are included as text when hovering over profile images. Note this page is not linked to by default and its access is restricted.
The bug was discovered 01/21/2019. The weakness was shared 03/25/2019 as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is shared for download at git.moodle.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2019-3810 since 01/03/2019. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
