A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in SAP J2EE Engine 7.01. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the file /TestJDBC_Web/test2. The manipulation of the argument sys_jdbc with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability (Reflected). The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The bug was discovered 08/10/2018. The weakness was disclosed 03/04/2019 by Ece Orsel with Biznet Bilisim A.S. as SAP J2EE Engine/7.01/Fiori Reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-17862 since 10/01/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
