Use-after-free vulnerability in the StyleElement::removedFromDocument function in core/dom/StyleElement.cpp in Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 35.0.1916.114, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted JavaScript code that triggers tree mutation.
The weakness was released 05/20/2014 by Holger Fuhrmannek (Cloudfuzzer) with Google (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at security.gentoo.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-1743 since 01/29/2014. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
