A vulnerability was found in Apple Safari up to 11.1.2 (Web Browser). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality. A memory consumption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue affected versions prior to iOS 12, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, Safari 12, iTunes 12.9 for Windows, iCloud for Windows 7.7.

The bug was discovered 09/12/2018. The weakness was released 04/03/2019. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-4361 since 01/02/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
