A vulnerability was found in Google Chrome 34.0.1847.131 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the function lcodegen::preparekeyedoperand of the file arm/lithium-codegen-arm.cc of the component V8 Handler. Integer underflow in the LCodeGen::PrepareKeyedOperand function in arm/lithium-codegen-arm.cc in Google V8 before 3.25.28.16, as used in Google Chrome before 35.0.1916.114, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors that trigger a negative key value.
The weakness was presented 05/20/2014 by Holger Fuhrmannek (Cloudfuzzer) with Google (Website). The advisory is available at lists.fedoraproject.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-3152 since 05/03/2014. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely.
