The bug was discovered 04/01/2019. The weakness was presented 04/01/2019 with Open-Xchange as Open-Xchange Security Advisory 2019-04-01 as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with OX Software. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-7159 since 01/29/2019. The exploitation appears to be difficult. An attack has to be approached locally. Additional levels of successful authentication are necessary for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
