In clearFilter() in utilities.php in Cacti before 1.2.3, no escaping occurs before printing out the value of the SNMP community string (SNMP Options) in the View poller cache, leading to XSS.
The bug was discovered 03/28/2019. The weakness was shared 04/08/2019 (Website). The advisory is shared at lists.debian.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-11025 since 04/08/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
