libxslt through 1.1.33 allows bypass of a protection mechanism because callers of xsltCheckRead and xsltCheckWrite permit access even upon receiving a -1 error code. xsltCheckRead can return -1 for a crafted URL that is not actually invalid and is subsequently loaded.

The bug was discovered 04/15/2019. The weakness was released 04/10/2019 (Website). The advisory is available at lists.fedoraproject.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2019-11068 since 04/10/2019. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
