FreeRADIUS before 3.0.19 mishandles the "each participant verifies that the received scalar is within a range, and that the received group element is a valid point on the curve being used" protection mechanism, aka a "Dragonblood" issue, a similar issue to CVE-2019-9498 and CVE-2019-9499.
The bug was discovered 04/15/2019. The weakness was disclosed 04/22/2019 as Bug 1695748 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2019-11235 since 04/15/2019. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
