The manipulation of the argument addWhiteListDomainStr with the input value aaaa.com"><script>alert(document.cookie);</script>) leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance 8.5.1.1516 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the addWhiteListDomainStr parameter to addWhiteListDomain.imss.
The weakness was published 05/29/2014 by William Costa as XSS Attacks vulnerability in InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance 8.5.1.1516 (Zero-DAY) as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-3922 since 05/30/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
A public exploit has been developed by William Costa in HTTP POST Request and been published immediately after the advisory. The exploit is available at seclists.org. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment.

It was highly suggested that you upgrade your client to ensure safety. Also, they recommended another Trend Micro Product -"OfficeScan" that may be suitable for your environment.
