Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WebVPN login page in Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via an unspecified parameter, aka Bug ID CSCun19025.

The weakness was released 04/18/2014 by Piotr Karolak with Trustwave SpiderLabs as CSCun19025 as confirmed security notice (Website). The advisory is available at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2120 since 02/25/2014. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
