A vulnerability was found in TheHive Project UnshortenLink Analyzer up to 1.0 (Project Management Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality. The manipulation of the argument Data as part of a Parameter leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. TheHive Project UnshortenLink analyzer before 1.1, included in Cortex-Analyzers before 1.15.2, has SSRF. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker must create a new analysis, select URL for Data Type, and provide an SSRF payload like "http://127.0.0.1:22" in the Data parameter. The result can be seen in the main dashboard. Thus, it is possible to do port scans on localhost and intranet hosts.

The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2019-7652 since 02/08/2019. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
