bubblewrap.c in Bubblewrap before 0.3.3 misuses temporary directories in /tmp as a mount point. In some particular configurations (related to XDG_RUNTIME_DIR), a local attacker may abuse this flaw to prevent other users from executing bubblewrap or potentially execute code.
The weakness was released 05/29/2019 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at security.gentoo.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-12439 since 05/29/2019. Attacking locally is a requirement. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
