A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Apple iCloud up to 7.11 on Windows (Cloud Software). This affects an unknown code of the component SQLite. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 371813 (Apple iCloud for Windows Prior to 7.12 Multiple Vulnerabilities(HT210125)).
Upgrading to version 7.12 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
